Pergola Les Glòries / Public Spaces / Barcelona

An open space of 700m2 for public activities, in a square in transformation

Les Glòries square, in Barcelona, is under a gigantic urban transformation. These constructions have created the need of a public installation so the citizens can begin to use the new public space.  The open pavilion of 700 m 2 is a self-sufficient pergola,  made in  stretched canvas,  whose colors are the sonocromathic translation  of the whales’ singing, composed by the artist cyborg Neil Harbisson. Thanks to the application EyeborgApp we can hear this composition.
