Adaptation of a site of an ancient Roman house in Barcelona

Vora architects study, are the authors of this project; in which we have worked; an adaptation of a site of a roman domus discovered under a public building in the street Avinyó of Barcelona. To make this space reality, they have created a series of lobbies based on the distributions of the ancient roman houses, making the prelude to museistic space .The halls set at different heights, have common characteristics, neutral finishes and indirect light coming from overhead way through the slats of the roof, providing a high uniformity and skylight effect.
