¿Una bombilla que dura toda la vida? ¡En estos tiempos dónde todos los aparatos electrónicos se vuelven obsoletos al cabo de unos años! Benito Muros, su creador, ha decidido luchar contra la obsolencia programada, desarrollando junto con 22 ingenieros la tecnologÃa y la fórmula para fabricar una lÃnea de iluminación Led que tenga una duración de por vida. ¿Que es la obsolencia programada? Se trata de la programación del fin de la vida útil de un producto para que se vuelva inservible después de un tiempo de vida calculado de antemano por el fabricante durante su fase de diseño.
Detrás de la creación de la bombilla sin fecha de caducidad, hay un proyecto de investigación de más de 9 años, cuya premisa es que pese a los avances tecnológicos, antes los productos duraban más. Para llevar a cabo su investigación, Muros viajó hasta el parque de bomberos de Livermore (California), lugar en el que hay una bombilla que lleva encendida de forma ininterrumpida más de 111 años.
La bombilla responde a la necesidad actual de un compromiso con el medio ambiente, no genera residuos, ya que dura toda la vida y al mismo tiempo permite un ahorro energético de un 92% y emite un 70% menos de CO2.

A bulb that lasts the whole life? In these period where all the electronic devices become obsolete after a few years! Benito Muros, i’ts creator, has decided to fight against the planned obsolence, developing together withh 22 engineers the technoly and the way to make a line of Led lighting that lasts the whole life. What’s the planned obsolence? It’s the planning of the last long life of a product so it becomes unuseful after a life period calculated in advanced by the manufacturer during the design process.
Behind the creation of the bulb without expiry date, theres a 9 years investigation project, whose premise is that despite the technological advances, before the products lasted more. To carry out his investigation, Muros traveled to the Fire Station in Livermore ( California), place where there is the bulb that goes flushed in a uninterrupted form for more than 111 years.
The bulb responds to the actual need of a commitment with environment. Doesn’t generate waste material, because of it’s long life and at the same time permits a 92% of energetical saving and emits a 70% less of CO2.

El material sólido interactua con una luz proyectada, que crea la sombra.
Some images of the work of belgian artist Fred Eerdekens. Each one of the pieces has been created from materials that had been manipulated by Eerdkens in such a way that the observer it’s able to read the shadows created. The solid material interacts with a projected light, that creates the shadow.

Los arquitectos Italo Lupi y Migliore Servetto, han creado en el edificio más alto e icono de Torino, una instalación lumÃnica a base de tres marcos rectángulares de acero que contienen Leds de color verde, rojo y blanco, para conmemorar el 150 Aniversario de la unificación de Italia.
The italian architects Italo Lupi and Migliore Servetto, created a lighting installation in the higher and most iconic building of Torino. Three rectangular steel frame with red, green and white Led, to conmemorate the 150th anniversary of unification of Italy.
