United Visual Artists es un colectivo multidisciplinario de arte y diseño con base en Londres fundado por Matt Clark, Chris Bird y Ash Neru. Su propuesta combina tres disciplinas: dirección de arte, diseño de producción e ingenierÃa de software. Su filosofÃa reside en combinar fuertemente estos elementos para producir experiencias receptivas en tiempo real. Son pioneros en la creación de performances, cosa que les ha hecho trabajar en una amplia variedad de proyectos en áreas como visuales para grupos musicales en directo, instalaciones de ubicación especÃfica, videos musicales, pases de modelos, performances en directo e instalaciones permanentes de arquitectura. United Visul Artists are a multidisciplinary group of art and design based in London founded by Matt Clark, Chris Bird and Ash Neru. His offers combine three disciplines: art direction, production design and engineer software. His filosophy resides in combining strongly this elements to produce receptive experiences in real time. Are pioneer in the creation of performances, thing that they has made work in an extend variety of projects in areas like visuals for musical groups in direct, installations with specific location, musical videos, fashion runways, direct performances and permanent architectural installations. Vuelve Field of Light

A vuelto a florecer el campo de luz de Bruce Munro, esta vez en Bath en el Holburne Museum. En cuanto anochece, durante tres horas el público ha podido contemplar la instalación de más de 5.200 flores formadas por tallos acrÃlicos y bolas cuyo interior albergan cables de fibra óptica. Estos cables están conectados a un total de cinco proyectores de halogenuro para transportar la luz que emiten hasta las bolas. De modo que las esculturas se iluminan cuando se enciende el proyector, y no porque contengan electricidad en su interior. Más información publicada aqui.
Bruce Munro’s Field of Light has turned to bloom, this time in Bath in the Holburne Museum. When it get’s dark, for three hours the public can gaze the installation of more than 5.200 flowers formed by acrylic stems and balls in which interior they shelter fiber optical cables. These cables are connected to a total of five projectors of halide to transport the light that they issue up to the balls. So that the sculptures are illuminated when the projector is ignited, and not because they contain electricity in it’s interior. More information published here.

Private moon

Los artistas rusos Leonid Tishkov y Boris Bendikov han creado un fantástico mundo iluminado por la luna, donde han intentado transmitir relaciones entre el honbre y la luna. Es una romántica historia sobre un hombre que conoce la luna y decide estar con esta para siempre. Llamarón la instalación Private Moon.
Russian artists Leonid Tishkov and Boris Bendikov created a fantastic world illuminated with the moonlight where they tried to convey relations between the man and the Moon. This is a romantic story about a man who met the Moon and decided to stay with it forever. They named the installation ‘Private Moon.

TAF
Anoche | Categoría El hombre sin sombra
Gabriela Gustafson y Mattias Ståhlbom dirigen desde 2002 el estudio de arquitectura y diseño TAF en Estocolmo, Suecia . El objetivo del TAF es hacer la vida ordinaria menos ordinaria por cambios sutiles pero eficaces de como los productos y la arquitectura aparecen y funcionan. Un punto recurrente de los proyectos de TAF es darle la vuelta a los objetos comunes y conseguir que se conviertan en únicos.
Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom have run the architecture and design studio TAF in Stockholm, Sweden since 2002. TAF’s aim is to make ordinary life less ordinary through subtle but effective changes in how products and architecture appear and function. A recurrent departure point in TAF projects is that everyday objects by their very commonness can be made uncommon.
